Client Friendly

Have you ever decided to purchase a product from a company because the interaction was so pleasant? Let’s face it, there is one particular fast-food company that has mastered customer service. Their approach to dealing with everyone is simple. They aim to please and keep the customers happy. There are many meme and videos floating online that displays their team members going above the call of duty. Not to mention that some of these videos are not real but it does display their will to ensure customer satisfaction. One of my favorite videos for this company is where a team member changed a flat tire. This was done out of kindness! Not too many companies have that same approach. It okay if they do not but they should at least have a welcoming spirit.

I have noticed since 2019, more companies are focused on the quantity and not the quality. So many administrative assistants or even call center representatives have not been very warm to speak too. I can personally recall a specific company in The Woodlands, TX who we contacted in attempt to utilize their services. The representative who answered the phone seemed highly unmotivated and miserable. That was merely the start. When we inquired about services, she began to tell us to refer to the website. Before we can notify her that we went to the website, she hung up. She did not say good-bye or even ask if we needed further assistance. In my mind, I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, so we called back. She answered in the same miserable voice and once again hung up. Now we are highly annoyed, so we called the corporate number. Long behold, the corporate number which has a northern area code for a different state still went to her. So, as you can image, we decided to let her that we will take this multimillion dollar deal somewhere else. We were polite enough to at least say good-bye and God bless before we hung up. Remember we are in 2021 and social media is the go-to for an opportunity make an impact on a company. Do not become the company whose name is tarnished online due to one bad seed.

I say this all to say, you never know what opportunity you company will lose from a bad call. At Lanuity, we provide proper training to help your company thrive! You can call us today get more details but, in the meantime, here are a few tips to help keep money in your pockets.

IF that does not help, then report them to the proper authorities.  We all have a job to do no matter how annoying it may be.

-          Inquiries go a long way: Before you say adios, always ask them “Is there anything else I may help with?”. You never know if someone may need further assistance.
