The Diesel Mechanic acts as an integral member of the team. This position will be filled by the best-fit candidate for the position. If you do not meet the minimum requirements, please do not apply.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performance of repairs and PM procedures.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosis of mechanical problems to include electrical work.
- Responsible for electronic diagnostics.
- Proper documentation of findings.
- Report updates and tracking of performed work as well as needed work.
- Documentation of used materials and time needed to complete repairs per orders.
- Assist in roadside services, if needed
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Other duties as assigned
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- 2 years of truck, bus or heavy equipment maintenance experience (Required)
- PA Inspection license or ability to obtain
- Own hand tools
